Authorities are looking into how a male adult’s body wrapped up in a home’s garbage can in a residential area in Southwest Miami-Dade.
Just before 5 p.m., Miami-Dade police reported, homicide investigators were dispatched to a residence in the 8400 block of SW 161st Place.
The corpse was discovered at about 2:00 p.m., according to the police, and it appeared that it had been shot.

According to authorities, investigators were trying to positively identify the body.
The corpse was discovered in a household trash can by a Department of Solid Waste waste collector, according to the authorities.
Yellow crime scene tape was visible on live footage from the site, obstructing the home’s garage access.
Police did not disclose any more details. The investigation is still on.
