According to the San Jose Police Department on Wednesday, a woman passed away on December 18 after being struck by a car in a parking lot in San Jose. On Christmas Eve, the woman passed away in a hospital from her wounds.
The deceased is the 49th individual to pass away in a San Jose traffic accident in 2023. Among them, twenty-seven were pedestrians.
At approximately six o’clock in the evening saw the collision on Santa Teresa Boulevard’s 6200 block. According to SJPD, a lady was struck by a car exiting a shopping center’s parking lot while she was strolling down the sidewalk near the entrance.

At first, the victim’s injuries were considered life-threatening, and the hospital stabilized them. She passed away, nevertheless, six days later.
According to authorities, the driver of the involved vehicle remained at the site and cooperated with the inquiry.
