TRAGIC DISCOVERY! Missing 7-year-old Found Dead in Retention Pond

On Wednesday evening, a youngster was discovered submerged in a retention pond, and it was determined that the infant had passed away. Currently, the event is being investigated by detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit of the New Castle County Division of Police.

Law enforcement received a report of a missing youngster who was seven years old on June 5, according to the New Castle County Division of Police. In the neighborhood, the child was last seen close to a retention pond, according to the information that was provided to the authorities.

After arriving to the 100 block of Gabriel Drive near Red Lion at 5:35 p.m., law enforcement officials and other first responders immediately began searching the pond, the woods that surrounded it, and the locations that were within close proximity.

In accordance with the police, the seven-year-old child was found submerged in the pond by a member of the Delaware City Fire Company. After the youngster was transported to Christiana Hospital, it was determined that he had passed away upon arrival.
