According to the National Weather Service, Sunday night, Jan. 21 will be chilly with temperatures in the mid-teens, while Monday, Jan. 22 will be bright with rising clouds and a high in the mid-30s.
Monday night will be dry with a low around 27, but a wintry mix is likely to arrive Tuesday, Jan. 23, with sleet probable in the morning in Sussex, Warren, Bergen, and Passaic counties — mostly north of Route 78, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will be around the mid-30s.
Rain is expected across the rest of North Jersey, but much of the region could receive snow, freezing rain, and ice Tuesday night through early Wednesday morning, Jan. 24, according to the NWS.

According to the NWS, Wednesday will be wet with a high near 42 degrees, and Thursday, Jan. 25 will be rainy but milder, with a high in the low 50s.
