The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to WFLA that a man was arrested after striking numerous automobiles in a Tampa Walmart parking lot on Saturday, causing a deputy to jump out of the path.
HCSO stated its deputy had to “jump out of the way” of a speeding car traveling through the parking lot of the Walmart at 2701 E. Fletcher Avenue while responding to reports of a probable crash with casualties.

According to HCSO, the suspect hit three cars before fleeing the area. Fortunately, no one was hurt, and there was no chase.

Shortly after, the suspect was apprehended at the University Mall, where he allegedly struck a deputy’s vehicle.
He was arrested and charged for “his crimes at the Walmart parking lot” as well as hitting the deputy’s vehicle. Narcotics were also discovered in the suspect’s vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
