The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a 12-year-old kid from the Northside Independent School District.
According to a BCSO release issued on Tuesday, the arrest was made in response to a threat made against another student. Investigators said the student at Luna Middle School in West Bexar County threatened to shoot another student during a FaceTime contact on Saturday.
“Parents must talk to their children about the serious consequences of making threats,” stated Sheriff Javier Salazar. “The BCSO will investigate these cases vigorously and will make arrests when appropriate.”

Investigators claim the teenager also exhibited photographs of guns and threatened to “shoot up the school.”
When word of the threats spread, the student was suspended from school, and the BCSO was alerted right away. An arrest warrant was issued, and the student was picked up at a residence.
A search of that home yielded results.380 caliber pistol with an extended magazine, ammunition, two replica pistols, and two alternative plate carriers for body armor.
The teenager was transported to the Bexar County Juvenile Detention Center and charged with felony terroristic threats.
