There is a parade band from Wisconsin called Pulaski High School Red Raider getting ready to go to Pasadena, California, for the 135th Tournament of Roses Parade.

Twenty bands will march in the parade on January 1, 2024. The Pulaski High School Red Raider is one of them.

Under the theme “Celebrating a World of Music,” bands from all over the world, such as those from Costa Rica, Japan, and Sweden, are getting ready to march along the famous Orange Grove and Colorado boulevards.

Along with welcoming back old groups to the traditional route, the 2024 parade will also welcome new groups.

Officials with the parade say that the bands are chosen by the “association’s volunteer members based on a variety of criteria, such as musicianship, marching ability, and entertainment or special interest.”

Once it is known which schools will be playing in the 110th Rose Bowl Game in December, two more bands will be added to the schedule.
