These Miami Restaurants Are Preparing Something Special for Valentine’s Day 2024

We’ve somehow made it to 2024, which means it’s already time to start planning Valentine’s Day. We cannot assist you with the present selection, but we are certain that you will make an informed decision.

But we can recommend a few eateries in Miami-Dade that are presenting special menus for the big romantic night. This is not an exhaustive list, but it should get you thinking about where you might want to go — and motivate you to book reservations before you’re hot and frantic on February 13.

Here are some of the exclusive meals in town. All are valid for February 14 only, and prices do not include tax or gratuity.

1. Eating House

Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli’s popular restaurant will host a seven-course evening that begins with Parker rolls and yellowfin tuna tartare and progresses to Niman Ranch pig belly, mascarpone risotto, and Mashima Reserve wagyu vaca frita. Desserts include berries with cream and s’mores semifreddo. You will also receive a complimentary glass of bubbly to toast to romance.

2. Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden

If your one true love enjoys picnics and live music, come to the garden for a picnic supper basket filled with cheese, caprese skewers, almonds, olives, grapes, and crackers. Choose between three entrees: roast beef, Santa Fe chicken wrap, and grilled Mediterranean veggie wrap. Greens, spaghetti, and tomatoes are served as side dishes, along with a red velvet cupcake and bottled water. Cocktails, wine, and champagne are available by the glass, as well as a wine and chocolate combo. The Rhythm Street Band by Titus Music will deliver live music.

3. Fiola Miami

This beautiful Michelin-starred restaurant in Coral Gables has a three-course meal that begins with appetizers like blue fin tuna and King salmon crudo. Entrees include Fiola lobster ravioli with ginger, chives, and lobster roe; and Australian wagyu filet mignon with foie gras and winter truffles. Desserts include lemon raspberry crostata and chocolate cake. There are vegetarian and vegan options as well.

If the evening price is a little too high, there is also a three-course Lovers Lunch served throughout the day.

4. Bourbon Steak

Chef Michael Mina’s restaurant offers a three-course special that includes steak tartare, Maine lobster soup, tuna sashimi, and the legendary Wedge salad. Main dishes include Delmonico ribeye steak, filet mignon, and Faroe Island fish. Supplements include a two-person seafood dish and premium caviar. Dessert options include crackling cream puffs, raspberry almond pie, or chocolate and raspberry mousseline with white chocolate gelato.

5. Casa Mariano

Chef Mariano Araya has created a three-course special menu for this Mediterranean restaurant, with large seared scallops, tuna tartare, lobster ravioli, and prime strip steak. Dessert will most likely be rose hazelnut tiramisu. Wine pairing costs $35.

6. Fontana at the Biltmore

The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables provides the most romantic setting possible. Enjoy a three-course supper in the courtyard that surrounds the iconic fountain. Entrees include cannelloni con ricotta e spinaci, filetto di Manxo, and aragosta gratinata. Dessert is either a chocolate torta or a ricotta cheesecake.

7. Fox’s Lounge

Who says you have to overspend on Valentine’s Day? This South Miami drinking establishment is serving a supper for two that includes bone-in short rib with charred leeks, a baby gem wedge salad, and a coconut cartel rum flan for dessert. The kitchen shuts at 11 p.m., but after-dinner cocktails are served until 2 a.m.

8. Luca Osteria

Not to be outdone by Eating House, sibling restaurant Luca Osteria is serving a seven-course Italian feast including entrée such as pasta al tartufo with fresh truffles, halibut acqua pazza, and brasato al Barolo (slow-cooked short rib, Jerusalem artichoke, and oyster mushrooms).

9. Mayfair House & Gardens

Romance your significant other at this restaurant within the gorgeously renovated Mayfair hotel in Coconut Grove. Appetizers include oysters, wagyu tataki, and infladita de langosta with lobster salad and Ikura caviar. Main dishes include octopus al carbon, a New York wagyu steak, and a charred eggplant dish.

10. Queen Miami Beach

The chic Japanese restaurant on South Beach has a four-course menu that includes appetizers such as crispy prawn tempura, caviar crispy rice, and tuna pizzetta. The second meal is maki, sashimi, and smoked eggplant salad, while the third course includes A5 striploin with truffle sancho au poivre and roasted lobster with Tokyo butter, uni, wasabi, and dijon. For dessert, choose the raspberry and litchi cake. You may also stay with Queen’s a la carte menu if you wish.
