Take Your Pick For Alaska! Spring Rain And Snow

The last week of March has brought more unsettling spring weather to the state.

It rained a little in Anchorage on Tuesday—only. 01 inches. It was even said that light snow was falling on the Hillside. Even though it was cloudy and rainy, the temperatures were on the warm side during the day.

It will probably snow and rain in the south-central part of the state. It will snow a few times in the early, cold morning, and it will mix with rain through Wednesday afternoon.

Light snow fell on Alaska’s western beaches, and it will keep falling tonight and tomorrow.

Wednesday is the first day of a warning for snow and strong winds along the central to eastern coast of the Beaufort Sea. Winds from the east at 15 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph. The strong winds will last all day and into the evening. After another disturbance moves through the area in the middle of the week, a winter weather warning is sent back to the Bering Strait.

In the next 48 hours, a new big low will move north. It will first bring rain and strong winds to the Aleutian Chain. By the weekend, the storm system will bring a chance of rain and snow to Southern Alaska, especially along the coasts.
