Tragically, a 15-year-old expecting father was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, on Saturday night. At just after 11 p.m., the terrible accident at the corner of Strathern Street and Craner Avenue sent shockwaves through the small, close-knit town.

The driver of a Cadillac Escalade lost control and hit a parked car before hitting Carlos Pech, 15, who was going across the street. Pech died when the crash threw her into a parked car and killed her. Emergency workers said he was dead at the scene, leaving his family to deal with a sudden and terrible loss.

Christine Hernandez, the mother who lost her child, talked about how painful it was to hear about the accident from her home. She spoke with the sadness of a mother who has lost a child too soon: “I knew I had lost my kid when I heard about the accident. “Something told me that was my son.”

Still, another person on the path was hurt by the crash’s debris, but their name wasn’t made public right away. There is a good chance that this person will get better from the injuries they got in the event.

The driver of the Cadillac is Samuel Delgado, 22, from North Hills. He is now being charged with murder. It is said that Delgado lost control of the car, which set off a chain of events that killed young Pech too soon. Delgado was quickly caught by police, and he is now being held at the Van Nuys Jail while he waits for more court dates.

Carlos Pech was only fifteen years old when he was about to become a dad. He had his whole life ahead of him. His family, who were still very sad, told everyone that he was going to have a baby next month.

His mother, who was very upset, said that Pech was a good brother and son. Pech had just celebrated his birthday and was the same age as his mother when she gave birth to him.

Because of the terrible events, Pech’s family has set up a GoFundMe account to help pay for the funeral. The campaign shows how people in the community can work together to help a family who has been broken up by a sudden and horrible act.

While the event is being looked into, the police are begging anyone who knows anything about it to come forward.

Detective Otrosina of the Valley Traffic Division is in charge of the investigation so that Carlos Pech and his family can get justice. It’s still hard for people in Sun Valley to deal with the loss of a young life full of promise and the dreams of starting a family.
