People can be swifties anywhere, even in government offices. On Wednesday (Dec. 20), Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly said that she and her team listened to Taylor Swift’s music and are now real fans.

“Now that @taylorswift13 has been spending more time in Kansas—thanks @tkelce!—my fearless staff thought it was time I drop everything and give her music a proper listen,” Kelly wrote under a picture of herself holding an Eras Tour-style CD called “Governor Kelly’s Eras Playlist,” while one of her coworkers held a signed Kansas City Chiefs football in a group picture.

The governor went on, “Check out the personalized CD my staff made for me with songs they chose themselves.” It goes well with the Reputation friendship bracelet that a Swiftie gave me at a recent @Chiefs game. What other music should I listen to?”

Gov. Kelly’s change of heart is not a surprise. Since her stop on the Eras Tour and while she was dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, the pop star brought in a lot of money for the city’s business.

According to the city’s Economic Development Council, the Eras Tour shows in Kansas City brought in $88.8 million. However, the costs of meals, merchandise, and other things for Swifties added up to $1,300 to $1,500, giving the city an overall financial impact of $185 million to $200 million.
