At around 11:25 p.m. on January 2, 2024, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a gunshot at a residence in the Kickapoo Marina Subdivision in Livingston, TX. Onalaska Police Department assisted Deputies and Detectives in arriving at the location.
When police arrived, they discovered one deceased male and two other males with multiple gunshot wounds. Due to the severity of their injuries, the injured people were flown for medical assistance.
The Texas Rangers Office and the Polk County District Attorney’s Office also went to the scene to assist with the continuing investigation.

Detectives are aggressively working on the investigation, with an emphasis on the fact that there is no immediate danger to the public or residents in the neighborhood.
