Wednesday was the day that a lady who was 31 years old and a girl who was 3 years old were discovered dead inside of a house in the Brookstone Trace neighborhood in Milford.
Sgt. Timothy Maloney, a spokesperson for the Milford Police Department, stated in a press statement that at approximately 4:45 in the morning, officers were called to the 500 block of Route 113 in response to a medical emergency involving a male who was bleeding from his head. He sustained injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening and was sent to a hospital.
The two deceased victims were discovered by the police in a residence located in the 6000 block of Pebblebrook Drive in Brookstone Trace, according to the announcement. The investigation “prompted” the police to travel to the residence.

“Milford Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is actively working this investigation,” according to the release of information. “They have a person of interest detained and there is no threat to the public at this time.” Maloney did not disclose any information regarding the causes of death. According to what he said, additional information would be released when it becomes available.
