Early on Sunday morning, firemen from Rome were called to a large structure fire on Dean Avenue.
Rome flames Marshal Mary Catherine Chewning reports that when firemen got at the scene, the warehouse located at 1511 Dean Avenue was strongly immersed in flames. The call was received at approximately 2:06 a.m.

According to Chewning, there was a structural collapse and significant damage.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown because there is a lot of work to be done before investigators can enter the building, the speaker added.
