Ford Slashes 2023 Mustang Mach-E Prices by Up to $8,100, Introduces 0% Financing

On Tuesday, Ford Motor Co. implemented significant price cuts for its electric 2023 Mustang Mach-E, aiming to enhance competitiveness with Tesla and broaden access to the award-winning SUV for financially mindful consumers.

According to a pricing chart disseminated to its dealer network, prices have been reduced by $3,100 to $8,100 across various models, effective immediately.

Moreover, Ford Credit is extending a 0% financing option for 72 months to eligible purchasers, along with a $7,500 cash incentive on leased vehicles, which is immediately applied to reduce the lease payment, as conveyed by Ford spokesperson Marty Gunsberg.

Gunsberg informed the Detroit Free Press, “We are adjusting pricing, as we continue to adapt to the market to achieve the optimal mix of sales growth and customer value.”

Breakdown of Mustang Mach-E Pricing

The revised prices for the 2023 Mustang Mach-E, a five-passenger vehicle, are as follows:

  • The Select rear-wheel drive (RWD) variant has decreased by $3,100 to $39,895.
  • The Select all-wheel drive (AWD) variant has also dropped by $3,100 to $42,895.
  • The Premium RWD with standard range now costs $42,895, reduced by $4,100.
  • The Premium AWD with standard range is now priced at $45,895, down by $4,100.
  • The Premium RWD with extended range has decreased by $8,100 to $45,895.
  • The Premium AWD with extended range has also dropped by $8,100 to $48,895.
  • The California Route 1 AWD variant now costs $48,895, down by $8,100.
  • The GT variant has decreased by $7,600 to $52,395.
  • The GT Performance Edition is now priced at $57,395, reduced by $7,600.

Additionally, the $1,800 delivery and destination fees are calculated separately.

As per information provided on the Ford website, the battery range of these vehicles is EPA-estimated to be between 250 to 312 miles per charge, depending on the battery pack and other specifications.

Gunsberg confirmed that the Mach-E is ineligible for the $7,500 tax credit.

According to Gunsberg, among the available variants, the Mach-E Premium has been the best-selling model and currently boasts the highest availability.
