Days after “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor was brutally shot and died in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, his ex-fiancée Tessa Farrell has spoken out, appealing to city officials to “make changes” and put an end to the city’s escalating crime.

“It’s not okay. “This can’t go on,” the actress stated in a video released on social media Monday. “Many lives are being lost. We need to be smarter as a community. We need to stop being so cruel to each other. Let’s love each other and not steal.” “Johnny is looking down from above. I’m really delighted that I believe he found happiness before he left because it was his life goal,” she said of the actor, who played Brando Corbin on the soap opera for 164 episodes between 2020 and 2022. “I believe this guy was so popular because of all of you, the show’s followers, all of his work, and all of his friends. He was so much fun. He was such a bright person. He simply lit up the room. He had human failings, too, but he was always striving to improve himself.”

Farrell, who met Wactor in 2013, admitted she hadn’t seen him in a few years.

“We brought out the best in each other and then also the darkest parts of each other,” she said. “Our lives were both forever changed.”

Tragic Loss! General Hospital Actor JOHNNY WACTOR KILLED in La Shooting

“It’s so sad that you know, that this is how he had to get taken from us because he cared so much about doing the right thing and earning things,” she continued. “He taught me that.” I’m proud of the guy he’s become, but it’s unfortunate that a crime in Los Angeles led to this outcome. These offenders cannot continue to be on the streets and be thrown back with no consequences for their acts.

“If the person who did this, if you’re watching, I’m sorry, but you shot the wrong guy,” stated Farrell. “You can find a legitimate job. I understand the job market is difficult, but we’re all in this together. You don’t need to steal. Take a life over it. Human life is taken too lightly. We need to make some changes as a community. Support one another and band together. Perhaps that is what Johnny’s gift is to us. Maybe he is giving that to all of us. “He was full of gifts.”

“Johnny, if you’re watching from above, I love you very much, and I’m very proud of you for the person you’ve become and the obstacles you’ve overcome,” Farrell said, adding that Wactor had “found sobriety.” “You’ve always been an inspiration in my job and what I do, and I wouldn’t be where I am now without what you taught me. So, thank you, Johnny. I love you. I miss you. I hope those final minutes were okay for you, and I’m glad someone was with you.”

“We should find these killers,” she concluded. “This person was a rising star and a shining spirit in this world. We cannot keep losing things like this because people are frightened to speak up and do what is right. Johnny always stood up and did the right thing. Scarlett Wactor, the actor’s mother, called Fox News Digital on Sunday to confirm the devastating news.

According to her, Wactor and a coworker were asked to stay late at a rooftop club where he was bartending to clean up before returning to their automobiles about 3 or 3:30 a.m.

“They were walking to their car, and when they got there, Johnny’s car, which was parked in front of the co-worker’s, looked like it was jacked to one side. From what I understand, he said, ‘Hey, man, you towing my car?'” The person glanced up and had a mask on, and I assume he understood they weren’t doing that, so he stepped in front of the coworker, then backed up and put his hands up, or both, and the person shot him,” Scarlett explained.

She mentioned that the workplace did not offer reserved parking for employees.

“In my thought process… if he’d been two minutes earlier or two minutes later, he’d be alive.”

According to TMZ, which broke the story, investigators have not confirmed Wactor’s name, but the incident did match a previous complaint of three people attempting to steal a catalytic converter. The suspects’ descriptions have not been revealed.

Wactor’s mother stated that officials are planning an autopsy and that the family would bring him back to South Carolina for funeral rituals once his body is released.

“What I would like everyone to know is that they took a wonderful human being. It has left a huge void in my and his brothers’ lives. We just buried my husband, their father, four years ago. He was deeply loved by his friends and family. Scarlett Wactor described her son as a person who enjoyed life to the fullest, sought his aspirations, and was always cheerful and positive.

She added, “And the crazy thing is, he wasn’t trying to stop them from taking it.” They might have simply left or taken it; he would most likely have given them the car. They were a cowardly guy. I hope they are apprehended, and that Johnny is treated fairly. That is all I can expect and pray for. I’ll see him again. But without him, it will be a long road for me and his brothers here on Earth.”
