We’ve compiled a list of our top bakeries in Orlando. We present the top locations located in various neighborhoods within the “City Beautiful.”
1. Charlie’s Bakery & Creamery
Charlie’s Bakery & Creamery is the ideal spot to satisfy your sweet craving. This fantastic restaurant first opened its doors in 1971 and is located in Orlando’s Hourglass District.
Cakes (whole and by the cake slice), cheesecakes, cookies, pastries, pies, and ice cream are available on the bakery’s menu.
You can’t go wrong with anything from the extensive menu of delectable sweets.
Charlie’s Bakery & Creamery is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

2. Buttermilk Bakery
Buttermilk Bakery is a popular bakery in Central Florida.
This small-batch bakery in Winter Park is a local favorite. They create such a wide variety of sweet and savory pastries that you can’t go wrong with any of them.
Every visit will bring you a new selection of baked delights. Every day at 8 a.m., the bakery menu goes live. The Salty Malty Cookie, a chewy, crunchy, chocolaty delicacy (and candidate for best cookie), and the sumptuous Chocolate Orange Tea Cake, a little cake with a beautiful blend of dark chocolate and orange zest, are our particular faves.
The Buttermilk Bakery is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Although there are no seats inside the little bakery, you may enjoy your baked products at the tables outside. You may order online and pick it up the same day.

3. Gideon’s Bakehouse
There are two Gideon’s Bakehouse bakeries in Orlando. One is in East End Market (Audubon Park Garden District), and the other is in Disney Springs. Gideon’s first store is in East End Market, a cool food hall in the Audubon Park Garden District. It’s a small spot.
This popular spot is known for its scary Victorian-era decor and cookies that are almost half a pound in size. That is true, you read it right.
Gideon’s has a new theme cookie every month. People really like Dark Coffee Cake, Cookies & Cream, and Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip cookies.
Gideon’s Bakehouse in East End Market is open every day from 10 am to 7 pm.
Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs is open from 10 am to 11 pm, Sunday through Thursday, and from 10 am to 11:30 pm, Friday and Saturday.
The Disney Springs site is busiest at night and on weekends. Get there early to make sure you have a place in line.

4. Sun Pearl Bakery
Sun Pearl Bakery is a Taiwanese restaurant in Orlando’s Chinatown that is run by a family. This real place opened in 2004 and has been making great baked goods ever since. There are many sweet and spicy Taiwanese desserts, as well as boba tea, on the menu.
I like moon cakes, and they come in different flavors like Green Tea, Black Sesame, and Taro.
Sun Pearl is also known for its tasty cookies and custom cakes that can be bought ahead of time over the phone or online.
Sun Pearl Bakery is open from 9 am to 5 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from Sunday to Wednesday.
Thursday is a holiday for them.

5. Mecatos Bakery & Cafe
The Mecatos Bakery & Cafe is a small bakery from Columbia that has opened several sites in the Orlando area.
This place has been around since 2015 and serves a variety of baked goods, as well as tasty soups and burgers. You can get tasty, real Latin American food at the well-known bakery. You can get pan de bono, arepas, empanadas, and tequeños.
When you’re hungry for something sweet, check out the fresh bakery’s guava cakes, small pies, and cookies.
On Monday through Thursday, Mecatos Bakery & Café Downtown Orlando is open from 7 am to 6 pm. On Friday, it’s open from 7 am to 8 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, it’s open from 8 am to 8 pm.
