A 23-year-old woman has been apprehended for stealing a collection of cherished Stanley cups valued at $2,500 from an undisclosed California store. 

The unnamed suspect absconded with 65 cups on Friday, prompting Roseville police to respond to the incident on the 6000 block of Stanford Ranch Road. 

Store employees witnessed the young woman taking a cart full of the valuable water bottles, and despite their attempts to intervene, she proceeded to load the tumblers into her red car. 

Subsequently, the police located and arrested her for grand theft. 

The Roseville Police Department issued a statement on Facebook, advising against criminal activities to satisfy one’s hydration needs, even if Stanley Quenchers are popular.

Upon realizing that the suspect was unresponsive to their attempts to intervene, store workers promptly contacted the police, leading to the subsequent apprehension of the fleeing woman.

A police officer observed her just before she entered Highway 65 and conducted a traffic stop. Upon searching her sedan, officers discovered an assortment of Stanley cups and multiple packs of straws.

The suspect managed to pilfer numerous Quencher tumblers, IceFlow Flip Straw tumblers, food thermoses, and even kids’ bottles, as indicated by authorities.

Photos shared by the police department depicted a trunk filled with cups in various colors and patterns, along with a stack of them on top of a patrol car. 

Additional cups were found on the ground of her front passenger’s side seat, while a distinctive bright red Stanley cup occupied her car cup holder.
