CRAIG COUNTY, VA. – According to the Virginia State Police, a guy from Louisiana who is 26 years old has been charged with his involvement in the accident that resulted in the death of a baby boy who was only four months old.
In response to a report of a missing four-month-old boy, the Craig County Sheriff’s Office and emergency medical services were dispatched to a property on Sage Brush Lane in New Castle on Monday, according to the police.
We have been informed that when emergency medical services arrived, they discovered the kid to be deceased. The examination of his remains was carried out at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, Western District, where they were transported thereafter.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner came to the conclusion that the boy’s death was the result of a homicide, and they sent their findings to the sheriff’s office.
An investigation into the homicide was initiated by the Virginia State Police on Wednesday, in response to a request made by the Craig County Sheriff’s Office.
Trevian Carruth, now 26 years old and a resident of Francisville, Louisiana, was taken into custody by the VSP on the same day and charged with second-degree murder.
According to the authorities, he was processed by the sheriff’s office and charged with possessing a controlled narcotic before being released from custody.

It was determined that Carruth should be held without bond at the Botetourt County Jail, so he was taken there.
There is still an investigation being conducted into the incident, according to the authorities.
