BLAINE, Wash. – During an investigation into a massage parlor that was recently accused of prostitution and sexual assault, the police in Blaine came to the conclusion that three individuals should be detained.
At around 1:04 p.m. on Wednesday, officers from the Blaine Police Department (BPD) carried out the execution of a search warrant at the Luxury Spa, which is situated close to the intersection of H Street and Grant Avenue. An in-depth examination has been conducted with the spa serving as the focal point. A search warrant was carried out by the Bellingham Police Department (BPD) with the assistance of the Bellingham Police Department and federal law enforcement in order to destabilize an ongoing prostitution ring.
Todd Berge, 57, from Blaine, and Ankhjargal Jargalsaikhan, 38, from Corona, California, were taken into custody and placed in the Whatcom County Jail on accusations of patronizing a prostitute. Both men are from the state of Washington.
A suspect in connection with a sexual assault, Jie Deng, 39 years old, was also taken into custody by the Bellingham Police Department. He was booked into the Whatcom County Jail on charges of second-degree rape from the Whatcom County Jail.
