Each month, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) replenishes funds onto an electronic benefit transfer card.

These funds are designated for the acquisition of nutritious food items at authorized grocery stores, farmers markets, and select online merchants.

Recipients are encouraged to utilize these funds for the purchase of groceries, fresh produce, seeds, plants, and snacks.

However, it is important to note that SNAP benefits cannot be utilized for the procurement of alcohol, tobacco products, vitamins, live animals, prepared foods, or non-food household items.
