Two California residents are facing a slew of felony charges after allegedly stealing lotto scratch-off tickets in Iowa.
According to court filings, Robert Price and Samantha Flippo used a crowbar to break into a convenience shop in Fort Dodge on Christmas Day and reportedly stole a lottery ticket kiosk.
According to investigators, Price and Flippo then cashed winning tickets worth $135 at another Fort Dodge convenience station. According to court filings, they also submitted stolen tickets from a petrol station in Sac City on December 29.
Price is charged with 16 counts of lottery theft and one act of burglary.
Flippo is accused of 17 counts of lottery fraud.
