Earlier this week, the body of a North Texas woman who had been missing since May 27 was discovered in the backyard of a residence. According to a press statement issued by the Azle police department, the authorities believe they have a good idea of who was responsible for her death.

According to the authorities, the body of Heather Treibly, who was 43 years old, was discovered on June 12 in the 100 block of Ty Lane, which was close to the location where she had been seen most recently. Following a call that was received regarding a “suspicious incident,” officers were sent to the location in question. A body was discovered hidden in the backyard when they arrived at the scene.

The body was identified as belonging to Treibly by the investigators through the use of distinctive tattoos that were mentioned by the individuals who reported her missing, as stated in the news release issued by the police. They determined that Shane Breshers, who was 52 years old, was the major suspect, and they apprehended him on June 14 without any complications.

After first being charged with either tampering with or manipulating evidence, Breshers has reportedly been charged with murder as well, according to the police.

The attorney for Breshers, Brian Goza, was not immediately available to answer a voicemail left by the Star-Telegram, and the Star-Telegram was unable to reach him for comment on Monday afternoon.

Breshers is currently being held in the Tarrant County Jail on a bond of $650,000. The bond is comprised of $500,000 charged with murder and $150,000 charged with tampering with or fabricating evidence.
