Alabama MAN WANTED for Questioning in Oklahoma HOMICIDES Sought in Arkansas

A man from Alabama who is wanted for questioning in connection with numerous homicides is currently being sought by the Arkansas State Police and other local law enforcement agencies from the state of Arkansas.

According to a press statement issued by the Arkansas Department of Public Safety on Wednesday, Stacy Lee Drake, who is fifty years old and hails from Birmingham, Alabama, was last seen outside of a motel in Morrilton, Arkansas. It is suspected that Drake is armed and dangerous after going missing. A statement was made on Facebook by the Fort Smith Police Department in Fort Smith, Arkansas, stating that Drake has connections to the local community.

In connection with three homicides that occurred in Oklahoma as a result of two different carjackings, the agency stated that Drake is needed for questioning. According to the news release, he is also wanted separately on various felony warrants from multiple jurisdictions. The charges against him include being wanted for aggravated robbery, carjacking, and murder.

This information comes from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, which reports that Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a business in Gans, Oklahoma, at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. They discovered the bodies of a man and a woman. According to a press release issued by the OBSI, “both individuals sustained injuries that are consistent with homicide.”

According to the usatoday, as they began their investigation of the incident, they recognized Drake as a person of interest, and the vehicle that he had stolen was found in Morrilton on Tuesday night. The last known location of his residence was in Birmingham.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety advises that anyone encountering Drake should not approach him and should immediately call 911.
