According to Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times, the NCAA is looking into the Florida Gators football program right now.
Though specifics about the scope of the probe have not been made public, it has been going on since the summer.
“We have collaborated with the NCAA and will do so going forward. Both on and off the field, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of honesty and excellence. We are unable to provide further comments due to NCAA regulations regarding confidentiality.
Regretfully, Florida’s second season under Billy Napier’s direction ended recently, and the Gators had a difficult campaign.
They had a dismal 5-7 record at the end of the season, which was worse than their 6-7 record in 2022 when Napier made its debut.
Under Napier’s direction, the Florida Gators football team will need to show noticeable improvement in the following season. As more details about the continuing NCAA investigation become available, they will be shared.
