MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich.– Later on this week, a couple who had been married for over 28 years and lived in Montcalm County will be laid to rest in Greenville.
On June 26th, the bodies of Jessie and Virginia Seward were discovered inside their residence located on Beaver Drive close to Sheridan. They were both found to be deceased when a member of the family went to check on them.
The police established that both individuals had been murdered based on the evidence that was found at the scene. It was stated in their obituary that Jessie was a veteran of the United States Air Force and that she was born in the state of Texas. Following his relocation to Michigan in the 1970s, he spent the next 34 years working at Extruded Metals.
Sheridan Village Market was Virginia’s place of employment later in life. Virginia was born in Maine as well. In 1996, she tied the knot with Jessie.

Both of them were employed at Stanton Hardware at the same time.
In addition to being devoted followers of Jesus, they were also active members of the Greenville Community Church. Their obituary states that they will leave behind a legacy that is characterized by love, kindness, and faith in their family.
Both the Greenville American Legion Post 101 Honor Guards and the Staton American Legion Post 452 Honor Guards will be present at the burial to provide military honor service.
On Wednesday, July 10, at one o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a memorial ceremony held at Greenville Community Church to celebrate their lives WZZM13 stated.
Before the service that will take place on Wednesday, visitation will take place from eleven in the morning until one in the afternoon.
