Overnight lows should be in the mid-50s to lower 60s, with some patchy fog developing late. Aside from that, it’ll be a peaceful night with mostly clear skies. Golfers attending the U.S. Venture Open may expect a very warm day.

High temperatures will return to the mid-80s, with largely sunny skies. A stray storm or shower is conceivable, but the chances are 10% or lower… the more likely rain chance comes Thursday with our next weathermaker.

Showers and thunderstorms will come throughout Thursday morning, with heavy rain in the afternoon. More rain is anticipated on Friday and Saturday.

Rainfall could range from 1-2 inches across the three days. For many people who live from Green Bay to the Northwoods, this isn’t a problem. The newest Drought Monitor report indicates extremely dry soils in far northeast Wisconsin. As this system passes through, the air will become more humid and windy.

With the occasional shower and increasing clouds, our high temperatures will fall back into the 70s late in the week. Rain should end late Saturday, and Sunday looks dry with a mix of sun and clouds. The humidity will begin to reduce, but the temperatures will rise somewhat. Low 80s are possible late this weekend and early next week.
