An accident at work in Oklahoma that used a crane resulted in the deaths of two persons, according to officials who spoke with news outlets.
At approximately seven o’clock in the morning on December 6, the Tulsa Fire Department received reports of an industrial accident at Sooner Coating in Catoosa, according to KJRH.
The authorities were called to the location. As the morning crew arrived at work, they discovered the two men who had been working overnight dead.
The men had been working overnight. Andy Little, who works for the Tulsa Fire Department, told KOTV that the guys were pinned under a sheet of metal while they were using a crane system.
According to what Little shared with the news organization, “It seems that the materials they were working with shifted in some manner, leading to them becoming trapped.”
KJRH was informed by Little that the accident had become fatal at some point throughout the night. The identities of the males have not been made public by the authorities.
Sooner Coating was contacted by McClatchy News for comment; however, the publication was unable to get in touch with anyone at the company. About 15 miles to the east of Tulsa is where you’ll find Catoosa.
