Police are searching for two men who allegedly shot an 11-year-old kid in Allentown, Pennsylvania, earlier this month.
Renee Jacques Brown Jr., 20, of Allentown, and Jahliel Joseph Branford, 18, of Allentown, have been charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit criminal homicide, aggravated assault, carrying weapons without a license, possessing an instrument of crime, and reckless endangerment.
According to police, Brown and Branford opened fire on a gathering of persons near N. Nagle and Allen Streets in Allentown on Thursday, June 13, at approximately 3:30 p.m.
An eleven-year-old youngster was shot at least once in the head. Police stated that the boy’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. He remains in the hospital a week later. Investigators believe he was an innocent bystander during the shooting.

Police identified Brown and Branford as the shooters. Investigators said they discovered expended cartridge shells from two separate semiautomatic firearms, which they think Brown and Branford illegally had.
Neither man is in custody, and a nationwide arrest warrant was issued on Thursday, June 20.
