TWO KILLED IN THREE-CAR ACCIDENT on State Highway 21 Southeast of Austin

MUSTANG RIDGE, Texas – An incident that occurred on Friday evening southeast of Austin and involved three automobiles resulted in the deaths of two people.

The Mustang Ridge Police Department reports that the collision took place at approximately 7:43 p.m. in the 19300 block of Camino Real, which is located on State Highway 21 that runs through Mustang Ridge.

Law enforcement officers arrived at the incident within minutes and immediately began assisting; however, according to the police, two individuals were pronounced dead at the spot.

Currently, an investigation is being conducted into the crash.

Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, Travis County Fire Rescue, Caldwell County Fire, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Travis County Sheriff’s Office were among the emergency response teams that arrived at the incident.
