TULSA, Okla. – A guy has been taken into custody, according to the Tulsa Police Department, following the shooting death of a 15-year-old kid in the north Tulsa neighborhood early on Sunday morning.
At 2:46 in the morning, officers responded to a complaint about a shooting that occurred close to the intersection of West Pine Street and LL Tisdale Parkway.
A youngster, 15 years old, was discovered dead with a gunshot wound to the torso by the investigation team. According to the police, a female victim was also shot in the leg and transported to the hospital.
Officers spotted Damien Gault, who was 30 years old and armed with a firearm, in the vicinity and took him to jail for further interrogation. For the charge of first-degree criminal murder, Gault will be lodged in the Osage County Jail shortly.
Investigators are actively hunting for additional witnesses to the incident, even though the police have stated that there are no other suspects.
