The boss and business owner, who chose to remain anonymous, mentioned that the police found the vehicle in Chicago at a later time.

According to the Cook County coroner, Gonzalez sustained gunshot wounds to the back of his head and back.

Gonzalez held a managerial position at the car dealership and had a longstanding friendship with the owner.

He was born in Mexico but has been living in Rockford, Illinois, for over two decades after immigrating to the United States.

Gonzalez has extensive experience as a mechanic and also worked as a car salesman for the company.

‘He had a genuine concern for others. You know, he deals in automobile sales. “It doesn’t matter if he enjoys handling,” the owner stated.

‘He consistently exuded joy, radiating happiness in every interaction and treating customers as if he had known them for decades.’

‘I’m feeling quite overwhelmed,’ the business owner expressed. I haven’t slept well. I have a constant stream of people contacting me daily. So I simply seek justice. We all desire fairness. Family members. Everyone desires fairness.

Along with his partner and her child, Gonzalez resided in Rockford. Family members of Gonzalez have created a GoFundMe campaign to gather funds for the funeral costs.

The GoFundMe page stated that the community was deeply saddened by the passing of Crisóforo Osorio González, also known as “Nikitas,” and expressed their lack of financial preparedness for the funeral expenses.

‘We aim to pay Cris the tribute he truly deserves, commemorate his memory, and bid him a final farewell.’
