Texas Woman, 21, Charged With Murder for Fatally Stabbing Her Mother

A 21-year-old Texas lady is accused of stabbing her mother to death and is charged with murder.

Rachel Zamarripa was arrested on Saturday, August 31, according to online jail records. According to KSAT, KTSA, and News 4 San Antonio, she is charged with the murder of her mother, Linda Zamarripa, 58.

According to jail records, Rachel is charged with first-degree murder, although it is unclear whether she has pleaded guilty or hired an attorney.

According to KSAT, Rachel was caring for her mother before her death, citing the sheriff’s office.

According to the site, deputies allege that the suspect contacted 911 to report stabbing a family member.

Linda was found by deputies with a stab wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene, News 4 reported.

According to PEOPLE, three other adults were at home during the alleged attack.
