A Texas couple has been detained about a $1 million theft from a Texas Walmart.

Ryan Munoz and Carmelo Amigleo, both 18 years old and from San Angelo, were arrested without incident on Sunday. The two are accused of stealing more than $1 million from a Walmart over a year, according to the San Angelo Police Department.

The police have not said if the theft comprised money, merchandise, or both. SAPD Chief Travis Griffith stated the $1 million was stolen by “employees” in a press conference on Monday, although he did not clarify whether the two suspects were Walmart employees.
