According to a recent report from The Wall Street Journal, Elon Musk’s drug use raised concerns among his business associates and company board members.

They suggested that he consider going to rehab and taking a break from work to address his use of various substances, including LSD, cocaine, ecstasy, and ketamine.

According to sources, Larry Ellison, a former Tesla director and close friend of Musk, apparently suggested that Musk take a trip to Hawaii in the winter of 2022 to unwind and take a break from work. The offer was made to provide a relaxing environment away from the stresses of work.

Concerns have been raised among Musk’s friends and associates about his worsening drug use, coinciding with Ellison’s proposal. During a gathering in the Hollywood Hills, a partygoer revealed that Musk consumed ecstasy in a unique manner, describing it as “liquid form” from a water bottle.

Prior to indulging, Elon Musk ensured his personal security cleared the area for privacy. According to a report, Musk’s alleged drug use has created a culture of peer pressure among his friends and board directors.

This has led to an expectation for them to use drugs in order to maintain their social status gained from their proximity to the billionaire. Musk, Ellison, and their legal representatives, Alex Spiro and Christopher Muzzi, have not yet provided a response to Business Insider’s request for comment.

Musk, who has been known to explore various substances, including ketamine, LSD, cocaine, ecstasy, and magic mushrooms, has been extensively covered by The Journal.

Although he has publicly stated his aversion to engaging in illegal substances, Elon Musk’s previous drug usage has drawn
attention to him and his companies.

Following an incident on the Joe Rogan podcast, SpaceX has been required by NASA to provide written assurance that they are adhering to federal guidelines regarding drug use in the workplace. The company invested $5 million of taxpayer money to ensure its employees received thorough training on the rules.

The billionaire also revealed on X that he has a prescription for ketamine, a medication that recent research has shown potential for treating depression.

According to experts, the use of certain substances that Musk has been associated with can pose significant health risks, particularly considering his age as a 52-year-old individual.

Some potential symptoms that may arise for individuals with bipolar disorder are an irregular heartbeat, incontinence, and psychosis. According to CNBC, Musk told his Twitter followers that he had been experiencing these symptoms back in 2017.
