LAS VEGAS- Two Las Vegas sisters and a guy are accused of luring another man into intercourse to rob him, during which he was shot in the head.

Nathan Nava, 22, Skylar Bailey, 23, and Emiley Ridout, 20, are all charged with open murder, battery to commit robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery, according to court records. On July 19, at about 7:55 p.m., police responded to multiple reports of gunfire and a possible shooting at an apartment complex in the 4700 block of Arid Avenue, near Nellis Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue.

When officers arrived, they saw a guy later identified as 19-year-old Conner Rebolledo laying in the parking lot, unresponsive, with blood gushing from his head, and holding a revolver with his finger on the trigger, police said.

Rebolledo was pronounced deceased on the scene. The Clark County Coroner’s Office ruled that his death resulted from a gunshot wound to the head.

A tenant of the apartment complex informed police that she was in her unit in front of an open window when she observed Rebolledo strolling with a woman when three guys suddenly raced up and “jumped” him, according to police.

All three men thrashed Rebolledo, and one of them had a weapon that he used to pistol whip him multiple times. According to the complaint, the woman stood nearby and did nothing to alleviate the situation before fleeing when the gunshots rang out.

During the fight, the man who pistol-whipped Rebolledo shot him twice or three times. Following the gunfire, the three males fled in different directions, with one sprinting towards the woman, according to police.

Minutes after police dispatch broadcasted the suspects’ description, an LVMPD detective in plain clothes and an unmarked police vehicle entered the apartment complex when she saw a vehicle behind her traveling the same route.

As the detective drove, she spotted a lady and two males who matched some of the suspects’ physical and clothing descriptions go into the parking lot and wave her down as if they were in a hurry, police said.

The detective concluded the gang assumed she was their ridesharing, so she kept driving and witnessed them enter the vehicle behind her. authorities pursued and stopped the vehicle, detaining the occupants, Nava, Bailey, and a Nava family member, according to authorities.

Nava told authorities that he and his baby’s mother, Bailey, were visiting a friend who lived in the complex with a group of other individuals when Robelledo arrived. Nava reported that two of the individuals in the apartment told him Robelledo owed them money and planned to rob him, but Nava refused to participate in the scheme, according to the report.

Nava claimed the two men jumped Rebolledo, and he never saw a gun. Nava then requested that a family member send him and Bailey a rideshare to pick them up.

Bailey told police that she was walking alongside Rebolledo when the males approached and jumped him. According to investigators, she claimed to have met Rebolledo at a party approximately a month earlier.

When detectives met with Rebolledo’s mother and girlfriend, they stated that on the night of his murder, Rebolledo received a message around 8:30 p.m. informing them that he was seeing a friend and would return in approximately 30 minutes. Police stated it was the last time they saw Rebolledo alive.

Police then spoke with Rebolledo’s coworker, who informed them that Rebolledo was contacting a female on Instagram named “Emiley” and was looking to meet and hook up with her. The two were due to meet on July 16, but “Emiley” canceled. They were supposed to meet again on July 18, the day before Rebolledo’s murder, but “Emiley” claimed she had a flat tire, according to the report.

Rebolledo then submitted screenshots of his communications with Emiley, who was making plans with him and telling him that they would “for sure meet tomorrow,” which happened to be the day of his murder, authorities said.

Text Messages

Police investigated Rebolledo, Nava, and Bailey’s phones and discovered messages between Bailey and Ridout, whom they eventually identified as the “Emiley” Rebolledo chatting on Instagram. The police also discovered that Ridout and Bailey were sisters.

When detectives examined conversations between Bailey and Ridout, it was clear that Nava and Bailey were suffering “severe financial difficulties,” and had been evicted from their house with their children, according to police.

On July 2, Bailey and Ridout texted each other about Rebolledo’s Instagram, with Ridout responding, “Okay, already done. Like I unfollowed and erased you,” Bailey answered, “He blocked me” and supplied a screenshot of his Instagram, police claimed.

Ridout emailed a screenshot of her discussion with Rebolledo the same day, adding, “Only for all,” to which Bailey replied, “We win, you win,” according to the report.

In another chat, Ridout asks Bailey, “How do you know he’s going to have the money on him?” Bailey says, “He always brings it with him; he likes to look flashy and show off,” police said.

From July 2 until July 16, there was regular communication between Rebolledo, Ridout, and Bailey. According to investigators, Bailey composed notes for Ridout to copy and email to Robelledo on several occasions.

According to the complaint, Bailey directed Ridout on July 19 not to respond to Rebolledo because she was going to take over and text him directly from a different phone number.

Police also examined texts between Bailey and Nava, which appeared to reveal that Nava had a history of robbing individuals dating back to 2023, with him writing, “I promise this month is over I’m going hard baby no more robbing,” according to the report.

On July 16, the first day Rebolledo and Ridout were meant to meet, Nava texted Bailey, “Is he talking to you,” to which she responded, “He’s checking his messages” and “I love you too my stomach in knots.”

On July 18, Nava and Bailey texted each other to see who they could borrow a gun from. Around 7:24 p.m. on July 19, Bailey texted Nava the address where Rebolledo was later killed, according to police.

Police also discovered texts between Nava and a contact named “Spazz Out” from July 19, in which Nava says, “Bros, can you grab me cut ready,” and “He trynna link and everything bro.”

The texts continue to say, “He just came back from the casino,” and “He got bread tho bro, he just came back from the casino.” Police are looking into the identity of “Spazz Out” since it appears they were one of the people who collaborated with Nava to rob Rebolledo.

Police eventually discovered that Rebolledo worked at a company that refilled ATMs, which meant he dealt with enormous sums of cash. While checking Rebolledo’s Instagram page, detectives discovered that he frequently posted photographs with big sums of money, which corresponded to Bailey’s description of him as showy and a showoff. However, when detectives spoke with Rebolledo’s manager, he stated that the money in the post was bundled in the same manner that it is packaged before being placed in ATMs, according to police.

According to investigators, the management earlier warned Rebolledo not to share those images because he could become a target for robbery.

Nava, Ridout, and Bailey are all set to appear in court on September 17 for a preliminary hearing, according to records.
