A teenager is charged with first-degree murder after Miami-Dade police say he shot and murdered his ex-girlfriend’s mother in front of her Homestead house last week.
According to his arrest report, the 16-year-old boy shot 38-year-old Eulalia Gonzalez Martin De Osorio in the head around 7:40 p.m. Thursday while she was holding her infant daughter on the porch of her duplex house at NW 11th Street and 6th Avenue. The Miami Herald is not naming him due to his age.
According to detectives, he then fled the area in a white SUV.

He was detained Monday morning on a warrant for first-degree murder and minor possession of a firearm and sent to the Miami-Dade Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
Lissette Valdes-Valle, a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, stated that prosecutors are investigating the case to see whether to charge the youngster as an adult.
A neighbor who was standing on her porch next to Martin De Osorio told authorities that she observed the child approach the house and say, “I’ll fire.” According to the story, the woman hurried into her house in fear for her life. When she returned outside moments later, she discovered Martin De Osorio lying on the ground on top of her daughter.
The infant was unharmed, according to police.
Several witnesses identified him from a photo lineup, including Martin De Osorio’s older daughter (the teen’s ex-girlfriend).
After being arrested and read his rights, the kid informed officers that he had ordered a ride-sharing car to transport him to the girl’s house with plans to kill one of her family because he resented her for ending their nine-month romance two months previously, according to the report.
Police claim the youngster had been making threatening phone calls to the girl, telling her that “if she was not with him, she could not be with anyone else,” according to the report.
According to the complaint, after shooting Martin De Osorio, the youngster informed police that he placed the handgun in the waistband of his jeans and returned to the residence in the white SUV.
According to police, the ride-share driver drove him back to his home in Princeton.
