Team USA has another busy day coming up on July 31, 2024. They will be participating in the pool, the gym, the field, and other places at the Olympic Games in Paris.

Boxing, archery, tennis, sailing, field hockey, beach volleyball, fencing, canoe, volleyball, water polo, basketball, and 3×3 are just a few of the sports that U.S. players are known for.

Katie Ledecky may win more medals in her favorite event, the 1500m freestyle. In Tokyo 2020, she won the first-ever women’s Olympic gold in the event. After qualifying with the best time, she could become the first woman to defend that title.

The men’s all-around gymnastics winner will be chosen somewhere else. The USWNT will also have a tough time in football as they try to do better than they did in the last two big international tournaments.

More than ten years have passed since an American athlete won gold in the all-around men’s event, and twenty years since the North American country last won a medal. But this team might be able to break the streak, especially since they are still riding high after winning third place. Fred Richard got third place at the 2023 Worlds, and Paul Juda will be joining him.

There is a new coach, Emma Hayes, and a lot of new energy on the U.S. women’s national football team. They will play the Matildas of Australia.

U.S. fans want players like Crystal Dunn, Sophia Smith, and Trinity Rodman to be used in a way that will get Team USA back on top after they were knocked out early in the World Cup and won a bronze medal at the Olympics. That will become a lot more likely if they beat Australia.
