A gunshot at Tampa Premium Outlets was reported over the phone to the Pasco County Police Department. Following what seemed to be gunfire, there was mayhem, leading the authorities to shut down the shopping center. The police agency declared that there was no proof of a shooting after conducting more investigation.
The fire alarm went off first, according to one witness. Then, he claimed, he heard a pop that wasn’t the sound of a gunshot. The shoppers, on the other hand, were startled by the commotion and hurried to leave, thinking that someone was firing.
A few people suffered minor injuries as a result of the mass panic evacuation. The police are still looking into the incident, so they don’t know what scared them.
