Southern Foothills to See Strongest Snowfall Late Monday With Up to 4 Inches Expected

Mountain snow is expected to continue through Tuesday, with snowfall accumulations of less than six inches, which may have an impact on travel through tonight and Monday.

Late Monday, the southern foothills and Palmer Divide are expected to get the strongest snowfall, with a probable accumulation of one to four inches.

Those who are driving along the I-25 corridor on Tuesday morning should use caution since there are slick places.

The plains and foothills are forecast to experience temperatures that are projected to dip on Monday, with highs reaching the mid-30s.

Even though the lowlands will be seeing dry conditions before the weather completely clears up, the mountains will continue to receive snowfall.

Conditions are expected to remain dry and warmer throughout the remainder of the week, with a remote possibility of snowfall returning to the mountains from Friday through Sunday.
