A woman from Southern California remembers the horrifying time she was attacked and tazed during an attempted kidnapping.

Erin Quinn, a resident of Temecula, reported that she was picking up presents for a local holiday toy drive on December 18 when the event occurred.

She got a text message that morning from an unidentified number with the area code 213 in it. The texter, who identified herself as Connie, an elderly woman, asked Quinn to pick up toys for a holiday toy drive in which she was taking part.

Quinn consented to assist and was instructed to meet the texter at a Winchester home on Memory Lane.

She was on her way to the front door when she got there when she got another text telling her to wait in her car as someone brought the toys outside.

According to Quinn, who had left her car unlocked, she complied and went back to her vehicle before resuming her driving duties.

She claimed that as soon as she sat down, someone attacked her and snatched her hair from behind her seat. In her brief absence, someone had broken into her automobile.

She claimed that someone had grabbed her hair and was pointing a Taser at her head.

Quinn claimed that she attempted to flee out of fear for her life but was unable to do so because of the female suspect’s strength. In the hopes that someone would hear her, she continued to honk her horn, but no one did. Quinn then claimed that her assailant gave her the command to drive.

She remembered, “She had me drive and she’s got the Taser on my head, pulling my hair and telling me to drive.”

According to reports, the guy vowed to attack Quinn’s mother and kids next. They ultimately reached a construction site as Quinn continued to drive. She asserted that a number of onlookers saw the hostage situation but chose not to help.

“Nobody’s doing anything, so I start driving [again] and as I’m driving, [the suspect] is Tasering me and pulling my hair and it caused me to crash my car,” she added.

She was able to get a better glimpse at the assailant when they stopped after her SUV was destroyed on the driver’s side.

She claimed that she recognized the woman right away as a previous employee of hers who had worked as a housekeeper. According to reports, the woman had worn a blonde wig to hide herself.

The two women exited the vehicle and started fighting. Quinn claimed that during the fight, she chewed off a portion of her assailant’s finger.

Before the culprit left the area, a bystander finally rushed over to assist.

Quinn stated, “My brain was jolting so bad and my body was shutting down and I thought either I was going to die or I was going to pass out.”

She was left with bruises on her arms and legs and injuries to her head. She described the entire experience as a nightmare.

“I am completely terrified,” Quinn stated. “I don’t know why she would do this.”

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department acknowledged that they are looking into the event as a possible case of kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon.

Since no official charges were filed, the suspect’s name was kept a secret and they are still at large.

Quinn expressed gratitude for her life and hoped the offender would be apprehended quickly.
