Real estate developer Harlan Crow, oil and gas producer Ray Lee Hunt, and billionaire Trevor Rees-Jones are among the many donors who will be hosting a fundraiser for Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign this week.

The fundraiser, set to take place on Thursday in Dallas, is being coordinated by her affiliated super political action committee, SFA Fund Inc., as stated in an invitation obtained by Bloomberg News. Haley has also scheduled a rally in the city for Thursday evening.

Haley remains determined to secure financial support from influential contributors for her ambitious campaign to become the Republican presidential nominee, even though she currently lags behind former President Donald Trump by a significant margin in her home state of South Carolina. The state’s primary is scheduled for Feb. 24.

Additional co-hosts for Thursday’s event include a real estate developer, a chief investment officer, a tech entrepreneur, a banker, an investment group representative, a capital partner, a lobbyist, and the son of a prominent founder of private golf and country clubs in the US.

Crow, who has faced scrutiny for his connections to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is a prominent Republican donor.

He has contributed funds to multiple presidential candidates in this election cycle, such as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, progressive activist Cornel West (who is running as an independent), and No Labels, a group considering support for a centrist ticket.

Haley’s continued financial backing from Wall Street and business donors, despite her losses to Trump in both Iowa and New Hampshire, has enabled her to sustain her campaign, despite Trump’s likely nomination as the Republican candidate.

She has committed to remaining in the race until Super Tuesday on March 5th, when numerous states, including Texas, will have their nominating contests.

She has organized fundraisers in various cities across the country, attracting support from prominent individuals such as venture capitalist Tim Draper, investor Stanley Druckenmiller, and KKR & Co. co-Chairman Henry Kravis.

Trump has warned that he will sever ties with donors who support Haley, in an effort to increase the pressure on her to withdraw from the race.

In a recent post on his social media site Truth Social, Trump issued a warning, stating that individuals who continued to support Haley would face permanent expulsion from the MAGA camp. Prices for the Dallas event range from $3,300 for an individual ticket to $16,600 for the top level.
