Sacramento to See RISING TEMPERATURES AFTER WET WEEKEND, Triple Digits Expected by Tuesday

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – After a dark and wet Saturday, the region will have a return of sunshine, and temperatures will be substantially higher than they were before.

High temperatures in the valley will be near or slightly below average in the afternoon, with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s. Morning temperatures are nice and chilly, while afternoon highs will be near or slightly below normal.

Temperatures in Sacramento are expected to approach triple digits on Tuesday, becoming even warmer than they were on Monday.

Expect high pressure to remain dominant for the remainder of the work week, with bright skies and maximum temperatures at or slightly above average.

Temperatures in the valley would range from the middle to the upper 90s, while in the foothills they would be in the low 90s, and the Sierra, they would be in the upper 70s to the low 80s.

In the valley, the overnight low will only be a few degrees higher than average, which means it will be in the low to middle 60s.
