Richland County Sheriff’s Department reports that a suspect has been charged in connection with the death of a lady whose body was discovered inside her residence. During a violent crime, Jerrod Graham, who is 35 years old, was taken into custody and charged with murder as well as death or injury to a kid who was still in utero, according to the sheriff’s department.
A residence on Northfield Court in northeast Richland County, which is located close to the crossroads of Longtown and Clemson roads, was the location where the body of a 21-year-old woman, identified as Chandreka D. Graham, was found on Wednesday morning. After forcing entrance into the residence, they discovered the woman suffering from “significant trauma to her head,” according to the sheriff’s department who investigated the incident. According to the emergency services, she was pronounced deceased. Jerrod Graham was taken into custody by detectives from the sheriff’s department on Thursday after being released from a “secure facility.” He was then transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center later that day. An investigation is still being conducted, as stated by the sheriff’s department.
