A man from Racine was taken into custody for possessing child pornography, and the investigation revealed that the man had thousands of photographs and films in his hands.
According to the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, investigators from the sheriff’s office initiated an investigation in May based on various internet tips received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. This inquiry was connected to a large number of downloads of child pornography, which is a term that is widely used to refer to materials that depict sexual assaults on children.
A house in the city of Racine was identified as the location of the child pornographic material that was caught.
The investigators were able to gather sufficient evidence throughout the investigation to get a search warrant for the residence.
The search warrant was carried out at the residence on Monday, July 22, by detectives and computer analysts working for the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
