A man is in police custody weeks after terrible acts against a 9-year-old girl occurred inside a Philadelphia house.
Tyreek Collier, aka Tyreek Jackson, is accused of burglary, rape, indecent assault, and statutory sexual assault. Police say the 28-year-old suspect sexually assaulted the youngster after breaking into a home on the 3000 block of Cottman Avenue on September 18.
The 9-year-old was sleeping with another youngster in the home, according to the Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit.
Following the assault, Collier was recorded on tape attempting to enter other residences in the vicinity.
Philadelphia police detained and charged him on Wednesday.
