One guy died and another was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Leach, Oklahoma, on Friday morning.
The accident occurred around 2:15 a.m. on Friday on Highway 412, approximately 20 miles north of Tahlequah.
A 2002 Chevy Tahoe driven by 20-year-old Thomas Potts veered to the right off the road, overcorrected, and crossed the center line.
The SUV then exited the roadway to the left and entered the ditch. The vehicle toppled and came to a stop on the driver’s side.
Potts was ejected from the truck and declared dead on the scene. Jacob Cole, 19, a passenger in the Tahoe, was partially ejected from the car and suffered internal injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
