Mrs. Glenda Charlene Isakson Campbell

Mrs. Glenda Charlene Isakson Campbell, age 64 of Trion, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Floyd Medical Center.

Mrs. Campbell was born in Greenville, South Carolina on July 25, 1956, daughter of the late Arthur Isakson and Bernice Bonds Isakson Hubster.  She was a Mom to all of the kids in her community.  Mrs. Campbell was an avid animal lover, especially horses, and raised all kinds of animals during her lifetime.  When not tending to her animals, she loved to fish.  Mrs. Campbell was always giving back to those causes that were special to her, often giving to the ASPCA and the Humane Society.  Prior to ill health, she had worked in a yarn mill for nearly 20 years, and owned a Calhoun’s BBQ restaurant.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her second father, Bolden Hubster and her husband and love of her life, Jack Osborne Campbell in 1981.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by her son, Larry “Little Man” Campbell; daughter, Robin Campbell Fair; honorary Sons, William Greer and David Skidmore; brothers, Michael Isakson and Wesley Isakson; sister, Darlene Lungsford; companion, Keith Kinsey; Best Friend and “Sister”, Beth Noles Peace; grandchildren, Shasta Dill, Kelsey Worthan and Morgan Campbell; 7 great grandchildren, with one on the way; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mrs. Campbell’s wishes, she will be cremated and the family will hold a memorial gathering at a later date.
