A 32-year-old motorcycle rider lost his life in a horrific accident on San Pasqual Valley Road.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash occurred yesterday evening when the motorcyclist entered the opposing traffic lane for reasons that are still being investigated, striking head-on with a Chevrolet Equinox.
The incident, which occurred near the 14500 block of San Pasqual Valley Road, has left the community shaken; the young man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Chevrolet, a 65-year-old male, and two passengers reported being in pain, according to the San Diego Police Department. The identities of those involved have yet to be released.
They have ruled out DUI as a contributing factor in the deadly incident.
