A Man who was bleeding from his head following a hair transplant was taken into custody along with his wife, after refusing to get off a flight in Miami.

Eugenio Hernandez boarded the American Airlines flight to Las Vegas with a bleeding forehead and bandages. He said his doctor had cleared him to travel and that he had the necessary documents, but flight attendants advised him to leave after seeing his wounded head.

The couple declined.

He revealed what happened after he was freed from jail Tuesday night.

“I feel a lot of agony. “I have pain here and on my head,” Hernandez explained.

He stated that he flew from Las Vegas to Miami to get a hair transplant and liposuction. However, he claims that while he and his wife were on their return journey, passengers notified flight attendants of his bleeding and medical condition.

“You need to go out because someone doesn’t like what you have on your head,” Hernandez claimed he was informed.

Hernandez presented NBC6 with a doctor’s note claiming that he was cleared to fly and return to work without limitations.

The flight attendant informed him she didn’t mind, he said.

The situation worsened.

“She tells me to go out or I’ll call the cops. I responded, “Call the cops,” because it is unjust. I payed for my flight. I have nothing unlawful in my bundle. “Everything is fine,” Hernandez explained.

His wife, Yusleydis Loyola, who also underwent cosmetic surgery, went live on TikTok in front of thousands of viewers.

“You know I have… Breast lift, arm liposuction… “I can’t walk,” Loyola tells the camera in Spanish. “Call 911… “We are discriminated against and abused.”

Police officers were summoned and attempted to persuade the pair to exit the plane.

“If you don’t get off, they’re going to grab you and pull you off,” one officer tells Hernandez. She stands in the aisle of the plane, while he remains seated.

“If they take me off, they’re going to hurt me,” he says.

But things are just getting worse.

The video shows two cops raising Hernandez and placing his arms behind his back. He yells.

Loyola then yells.

“Look, he’s recently operated on, he’s just been operated on!”

The phone shook.

“Do not put my phone down!” She yelled at the first officer. “He’s just been operated on and they’re hitting him!” Then Loyola walked away. She yells, “My breasts!”

Police claimed the pair were detained for refusing to cooperate after several warnings.

“We believe that they were discriminated against because of how they looked following a medical procedure that was necessary,” said the couple’s attorney, Michael Inglesia.

“They showed that clearance to American,” he told me. “They went through security without a problem, American then allowed them onto the flight and in fact, gave them priority onto the flight to help assist them and to make it more convenient and it was only after other passengers complained of their appearance that they were asked to get off the flight.”

The duo was accused of trespassing and resisting arrest.

“This could have all been avoided if they would have just followed the officers’ commands or requests to vacate the aircraft,” Miami-Dade County police spokeswoman Argemis Colomé said.

According to an American Airlines statement, “During the boarding of American Airlines flight 1858 on August 19 with service from Miami (MIA) to Las Vegas (LAS), two customers became disruptive and were non-compliant with crew member instructions.” Law enforcement intervened and removed both customers from the plane. We appreciate our crewmembers’ professionalism and apologize to our consumers for the inconvenience.
